Wales Low Carbon Summit organised by the Chartered Institute of Housing Cymru & the Welsh Assembly Government, taking place on 12th November 09 at Innova1, Tredegar Business Park in Blaenau Gwent.

A programme is underway to make more than 40,000 homes in the Heads of the Valleys area energy efficient, including the installation of micro-renewable energy products.

Through this programme, benefits will include training & employment opportunities, a growth in R&D , new business opportunities, support for companies in the renewable energy & construction sector, and reduction of carbon emissions and fuel poverty.

This event is aimed at a range of individuals and organiastions interested in low carbon, particularly:
 local authorities & other housing providers
 policy makers
 procurement professionals
 planners
 architects
 surveyors
 engineers
 organisations/companies interested in
sustainability & renewable technologies and products
COST
£50.00 for conference only.
£99.00 for conference & 2nd day Study Tour - including 'The Works' Ebbw Vale, The Green Valleys Hydro-Electrics Scheme and examples of domestic retro-fit projects.
There is also a conference exhibition area with spaces available at £500.00 (3m x 2m floor area).
