Oyez! Oyez! Oyez!

Bellowing voices from all over the UK will be heard competing in the town this month. All belong to the Ancient and Honourable Guild of Town Criers.

The bi-annual contest was brought back to life by Llandovery Town Crier Association in memory of the late Graham Smith - Llandovery’s much-loved former town crier.

The competition is aimed at promoting Llandovery, highlighting the heritage of the area and the tradition of town crying.

There will be 23 criers
