For a really enjoyable and varied weekend this August Bank Holiday, pay a visit to Talgarth Festival of the Black Mountains. The festival is packed
with events which cater for people of all ages and interests.
Festivities start on Saturday 29th August on Sunday 30th, ending with a grand Fireworks display.
Roy Noble

The former headteacher is now one of Wales' best known broadcasters. Roy Noble OBE presents his afternoon Show from 2 PM - 4 PM every weekday on
BBC Radio Wales.
Roy will be officially opening the Festival.

Bronllys Castle Tours

Bronllys Castle, a late eleventh or early twelfth century motte with an 80ft tall round masonry keep, has recently reopened following the completion
of essential conservation maintenance.
As part of Cadw’s 25th anniversary celebrations this year, Cadw will be exhibiting at the local Talgarth Festival and Dr Sian Rees, Cadw’s Inspector
of Ancient Monuments, will conduct guided tours to Bronllys Castle as part of the Festival celebrations.
