Aberglasney's 10th Anniversary of Opening to the Public

Venue: Aberglasney House and Gardens
Time: 10am - 6pm

10th Anniversary of Opening to the Public

On 4 July 1999 Aberglasney Restoration Trust opened the gates of Aberglasney to the public. Ten years on and after extensive restoration programme Aberglasney is one of the most remarkable restoration projects and a premier visitor attraction in South West Wales.

To commemorate the progress over the last ten years there will be special concessions and events on throughout the day.

Spectacularly set in the beautiful Tywi valley of Carmarthenshire, Aberglasney House features one of the finest gardens in Wales. Aberglasney Gardens have been an inspiration to poets since 1477. The story of Aberglasney spans many centuries, but, the house's origins are still shrouded in obscurity.
