Venue: Borough Theatre, Cross Street, Abergavenny

New Rope String Band

The New Rope String Band is made up of four experienced, talented musicians playing beautiful, lively acoustic music from various traditions around the world.

But people just laugh at them.

Pete Challoner and Tim Dalling (from the Old Rope String Band) have joined forces with Jock Tyldesley and Vera Van Heeringen and together they sing, dance and play their socks off , on fiddles, guitar, piano accordion, mandolin and anything else that comes to hand. Exuberant spectacles, boundless energy and beautiful music executed with kindness.
What could possibly go wrong?
