Events - Talgarth
Talgarth is situated between Brecon and Hay at the foot of The Black Mountains.
The area has been a settlement for the last 5000 years. The town itself was the chief royal residence of the house of Brycheiniog. Reputedly St
Gwendoline, daughter of King Brychan was buried on the site of the present church.
With an independent Tourist information Centre in the town and an annual festival at the end of the Summer the community welcomes visitors interested
in using them as a base for walking and discovering the beautiful scenery on their doorstep. | |
