Events - Outdoor ActivitiesThe Brecon Beacons is a great place for people with a particular passion for the outdoors – the mountains and rivers offer a chance to test the experienced hill walker or canoeist but whilst challenging in some areas and at particular times of the year they are also gentler and more accessible than some of the other National Parks in the UK.We have a wide variety of activity providers operating in the Beacons area who can offer you anything from a one on one caving experience to a good day out with a group of friends trying something new! In the Brecon Beacons there is a group called the South Wales Outdoor Activity Providers Group (SWOAPG) which is a support network for operators in the outdoor sector in the area.
