The Greenman Music Festival

15th, 16th & 17th August 2008

In 2003, James Yorkston played to a room of 300 people in the most haunted castle in Wales. In 2004, Four Tet took sonic risks with a precarious 11pm curfew as the Festival stretched to 2 days. Bonnie ‘Prince’ Billy performed “I See A Darkness” beneath a perfect full moon in 2005. And on an August Saturday in 2006, the DJ tent throbbed to the sound of Led Zeppelin’s “Rock and Roll”. 2007 featured Robert Plant & Joanna Newsom.

The Green Man returns for its 6th glorious year in 2008. Now at its permanent home in the rolling parkland of Glanusk Park (www.glanuskestate.com), the Festival will once again be pioneering the best in alternative music styles in an unrivalled atmosphere of peace and tranquility.

Super Furry Animals & Beirut are headlining this year.

Tickets for Green Man 2008 are now on sale. Numbers will once again be limited. Tickets can be purchased online or by calling Ticketline UK on 08700 667799. If you join the mailing list you will be kept updated as other artists are confirmed, and be the first to know about other forthcoming Green Man events.
