Upper Middle Road Farm is located in Mid-Wales, equidistant between Hay on Wye, Brecon and Builth Wells. It is a working 5 acre Smallholding, set at
550 feet, above the Wye Valley. The house is about 200 years old and was once a Wheelwright’s cottage. It has been extended and modernised to provide
comfortable warm accommodation with central heating and a log fire but still retains some of the exposed oak beams.
To the front are panoramic views of the Black Mountains sweeping around to the Brecon Beacons. Although quiet, the house is not totally isolated. The
village of Boughrood (pronounced Bockrood) is less than a gentle one mile walk and Llyswen is across the bridge spanning the River Wye.
We have one double bedroom with wash basin, toilet and private bathroom and one twin bedded room en-suite.
