Hay and Talgarth

Upper Middle Road Farm

200 year old small farmhouse quietly situated on smallholding overlooking Black Mountains, R.Wye and Brecon Beacons. 1 mile up from Boughrood village. For 30 years we have lived 'the Good Life' rearing animals for meat and eggs, growing fruit and vegetables organically and being as self sufficient as possible. We offer a double and twin room (ensuite), a varied Welsh Breakfast Menu and Evening Meals (to be booked in advance) which are quite often from farm to plate with nil food miles. We are very conscious of our carbon footprint and have installed solar panels, burn wood only on a batch log boiler for hotwater and heating and save rainwater for irrigation. 1/2 mile from WVW and R.Wye, 7 miles from Hay, 10 miles from Brecon
