Longtown O.E.C.This is a thriving 55-bed fully-catered residential centre in historic and modern buildings in the village of Longtown on the eastern edge of the
Brecon Beacons National Park. Within the centre's 15 acres of grounds there is a woodland, conservation area, kayak training pool, climbing
tower, high ropes course, zip wire, orienteering course and more!
The centre is licensed by the Adventurous Activities Licensing Authority to provide year-round adventurous activity courses. It specialises in
multi-activity courses for young people and families. Both residential and non-residential options are available.
With its comfortable, homely accommodation and two large training rooms, it is an ideal venue for training events, field studies courses and
gatherings for all ages. DDA compliant bedrooms / bathrooms and access ramps are available in the Monnow Wing. The centre also offers camping
facilities.
The centre is close to the market towns of Abergavenny and Hay-on-Wye and the Cathedral city of Hereford. Minibus pick ups from Abergavenny rail
station can be arranged if required.
The centre is an Access organisation for the Duke of Edinburgh Award scheme and a registered provider for MLTE Walking Group Leader and ILM Leadership
awards.
