Dan y Parc Farm Bed and Breakfast

Our four star bed and breakfast is set in a 17th Century farmhouse within fourteen acres of forest and farmland in the heart of the Welsh valleys, near the market-town of Llandovery in the foothills of the Brecon Beacons. The Crychan and Halfway Forests, with their many miles of horse riding, carriage driving, cycling and walking routes, are within reach in minutes.

Dan y Parc has its own delightful woodland walk which, with its natural waterfall, provides a beautiful place in which to sit and relax at any time of the year.

We have a twin en-suite, a double en-suite, and a single bedroom with adjacent private bathroom, all have tea/coffee making facilities and colour television.

We also provide WRTA approved stabling facilities for horses.

Breakfast is served in our light and spacious dining room. You can choose from either a full cooked option, with bacon and sausages supplied from the local Llandovery butcher, together with our own free range eggs, or continental. Vegetarian, or other special dietary needs? Then let us know. We also serve evening meals on request.

In the winter our cosy lounge, with its beamed ceiling and wood burning fire, is a comfortable place to relax after a busy day's activity, or you can choose to watch a movie from the large library of DVDs available. In the summer there are plenty of places to sit outside and enjoy the views of the surrounding mountains.

We're happy to accommodate guests' well behaved dogs - we're dog owners ourselves.

Dan y Parc is ideally situated for touring South, West and Mid Wales and is in an ideal location whether you wish to sightsee, walk, cycle, ride, carriage drive, or bird spot.

Many species of birds can be seen visiting our bird table and Red Kites are regularly seen circling overhead. The Dinas RSPB Reserve is nearby.

There are many miles of beautiful walks in the area, together with a number of country parks and of course we are on the edge of the Brecon Beacons National Park.

For cyclists we have secure storage and can provide packed breakfasts/lunches if required.
