Having had the charming 5* Damson cottage for 5 years Alltybrain Farm has recently converted two more cottages -
Duck cottage is a recently converted 200 year old stone barn which retains many of its old features including the old oak beams complete with its
wooden pegs for hanging horse harnesses. The cottage has been restored to offer excellent holiday accommodation for two people in a spacious ground
floor cottage offering fabulous views from every window and with double doors from both the sitting area and large bedroom opening out onto a
sheltered sunny patio area.
The Hayloft is offering a comfortable dormitory style accommodation for the more active and sporty type. The Hayloft has suitable accommodation for
four people. This is ideal holiday accommodation for those wishing to walk, canoe, go fishing, bring your own horse or use mountain bikes. Bed and
full breakfast accommodation is offered with visitors sleeping in the Hayloft and coming over to the Farmhouse for Breakfast and Dinner.
The original Damson Cottage sleeps two people.
Horses are welcome with individual stabling for up to six horses. Mountain bikes have a secure place with a wash down facility and there is plenty of
room for fishing rods and all sporting equipment and clothing. The Beacons Cycling Routes, The Three Rivers Ride, The Radnor Forest Ride are all
easily reached from Alltybrain Farm as are The Brecon Beacons National Park Visitors’ Centre and stretches of the Rivers Wye and Usk for fishing with
the Wye and Usk Fishing Foundation.
