The ethos behind EatDrinkSleep is the simple things in life done well. The rooms are chintz-free with white bed linen and beds so comfortable that a number of our guests have offered to buy them.

The Felin Fach Griffin's head chef, Ricardo van Ede, produces simple but unfussy food. Our principles continue to be recognised by independent guides, journalists and, most importantly, our customers. Our kitchen garden is currently “in conversion”, and we hope that it will have formal Organic status this year.

The Felin Fach Griffin, one of Wales’ leading restaurants with rooms, has won the Best Family Restaurant award for the United Kingdom in the 2008 Good Food Guide
