Fishing on the Usk

Fishing is possible from Llanfaes Bridge to Gwennie’s Lane and includes both banks.

The season continues from 3rd March to 17th Oct and tickets are available from both the Guildhall and selected outlets in Brecon.

The scale of charges ranges from a daily ticket at £15 to a season ticket at £40 plus a newly introduced Weekend/Short break (3days) ticket priced £25. There are also concessionary tickets for children and OAP’s.

The river Usk is now a premier Salmon river and renowned for its wild Brown Trout as well as a variety of other species.
