Pen y cae Inn

Exposed brickwork, leather sofas and a woodburner make the ground floor cosy for pre- dinner drinks, while a table of building bricks keeps the kids busy. Upstairs opens on to a roof terrace with views over the Brecon Beacons. The kitchen makes good use of Welsh ingredients, as in laver bread pikelets with leeks, cockles, Carmarthen ham and a white wine sauce. Mains might offer pan fried rib-eye or duck breast on fruity couscous with a honey and orange sauce. The lunch menu offers traditional light bites.

A place to go for a special night out or a delicious lunch, we can cater for special functions & private parties
